LoopIntel publishes analysis derived entirely from primary documents and open sources — free, no paywall. This page states who writes it, what that background qualifies them to judge, and what it does not.

01 — WHAT THIS IS

A desk that works from the document itself. Each piece examines a primary source directly — a captured order, a released file, a court record — quotes it verbatim, and shows the pages it was read from. Where a claim rests on inference rather than the document, the inference is labelled in the text rather than blended into the narrative.

The editorial apparatus is the product: source counts on every headline, confidence stated in controlled language rather than adjectives, an archive-first numbered ledger behind every citation, and a public corrections record. Sections without real content say so plainly instead of running placeholders.

02 — THE ANALYST

The desk publishes unbylined. The name is withheld; the qualifications are not:

Director of Security Operations and Research; 20+ years in threat intelligence, including Symantec Security Response and Threat Intelligence Lead, U.S. House of Representatives.

03 — WHAT THIS BACKGROUND DOES NOT COVER

Threat-intelligence experience informs the doctrinal analysis. It is not Ukrainian military subject-matter expertise, and it is not certification in translation — the analyst is neither a native speaker nor a certified translator. Ukrainian quotations are transcribed from the document photographs and translated by the analyst. Where a reading carries the argument, independent certified translation is commissioned — it is in progress for No. 001 — and any discrepancy will be logged as a correction.

Weigh the doctrinal judgments accordingly. Where a piece reaches past what the analyst can personally verify, it says so in the text rather than in a disclaimer.

04 — WHAT REPLACES A BYLINE

An anonymous byline is worth nothing on its own, and it is not offered as a credential. What makes the work checkable is the apparatus rather than the name — every judgment here is meant to be reproducible by a reader with the same documents:

EVERY CLAIM CITED Each factual claim carries a numbered citation resolving to a source ledger entry. Nothing rests on evidence you cannot see.

ARCHIVE-FIRST Every ledger entry links the live source and an archived snapshot, so the record we cited stays checkable even if the original moves or disappears.

NO ANONYMOUS SOURCING We do not publish claims from unnamed sources. The analyst is unnamed; the evidence never is.

CORRECTIONS IN THE OPEN Errors are corrected in place, logged publicly with severity, and never silently edited.

05 — FUNDING

Reader-funded. No paywall, no advertising, no sponsored content. Nothing a reader pays buys influence over a judgment, and nothing is withheld from a reader for payment — every piece is free at the point of reading, in full.

06 — CORRECTIONS & DISPUTES

Every analysis here ends DISPUTES OPEN, and it is meant literally. If a reading is wrong — a translation, a document attribution, a doctrinal judgment — the correction is logged publicly with its severity and the piece is amended in place. Nothing is silently edited away.
